Things You Think About in a New Year

Our accessory saavy 2 year old grabbed my wedding band laden hand this morning and asked the question she's asked so many times before, "Who got that "married" ring for you?"

When I offered that it was, as always, from her father, she replied with a wistful sigh, "It was nice of dad to marry you."

I'm not sure if she's suggesting that I'm a charity case or not, but, with her sentiment, I could not agree more. Pat, it was nice of you to marry me.
