Jitters

I've scoured the class list, looking for familiar names. I have covered and recovered my list of necessary supplies, insuring I have just what I need. I've anticipated what I'll wear, and have given careful consideration to the just right footwear. I wonder what the other kids will think of me. Will they like me? Who will I eat lunch with? What if they don't like me? What if I forget to get dressed and show up in just my underwear!????

Tomorrow is the first day. This time I'm the 5th grade teacher rather than the student, but it still feels just like the first day felt...gasp...NINETEEN years ago!
